Windshield washer & tap water
Function of a windshield washer is pretty obvious on its name itself, it cleans your car's windshield while a more popular question pop up on the internet is that:
"Can I just refill the windshield washer fluid reservoir in my car with tap water?"
The answer is definitely YES, BUT please keep reading this before you close this page and straight goes to refill it with tap water. Cleaning your car windshield without a proper windshield washer fluid can imagine as washing your dinner dish without using a dishwasher and so on. As a consequence, you might have bad vision of the road ahead when it comes to the cases that you like to park your car under a tree as shades while it is also a good spot for bird to build a dookie castle. Tap water might able to remove bird poop but not thoroughly.
According to BBC News, using plain water can cause the washer fluid system to become a breeding ground for Legionella bacterium – bacteria that causes Legionaries' Disease and pneumonia.
